Homer Laughlin announced in 2010  that Fiesta Jam Jars were now on sale in additional colors. Each one was $16.99. New Fiesta jam jar colors include: Plum, Cinnabar, Scarlet and Turquoise.

Fiestaware Jam Jar History

The first release was in limited colors, including Paprika , White, Ivory, Sunflower (out of stock), Tangerine, Cobalt Blue, Peacock, Shamrock, Lemongrass, Chocolate and Black (out of stock). where they call it a Utility Jam Jar. You can get it at for $18.99 in Cobalt. Some sites are calling the Jam jar a Jelly jar. Blue, Tangerine, Scarlet, Ivory and Lemongrass.   Example prices in 2019 for Fiestaware jam jars are $15 – $25 on Ebay.  These are in contemporary colors.

Each Fiestaware jam jar holds 14 ounces and is 5.5 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter. These are also referred to as Utility jam jars.  As always, it’s dishwasher safe. And, if you are so inclined, you could even put it in the microwave or oven. These can of course be used for several other things.  They would work well for bacon grease or sugar and holding small items like keys and pocket change.  This little jam jar is perfect for tea bags and sweetener packages. They are cute for a kitchen window and make great kitchen decor items. The jar does not have a rubber seal but the lid fits true and even.
