One of the best ways to save big on a new or growing Fiesta collection is by buying Fiesta dinnerware sets at a discount. Fiesta dinnerware sets are a package deal with savings that often amount to a virtual buy one get one free deal. Each Fiestaware dinnerware set comes with four place settings (i.e. enough Fiestaware dishes to serve four people).
You can tell if its a Five piece Fiesta setting by the total number displayed for the advertised item. For example, a 16 piece Fiestaware dinner set contains four separate four piece Fiesta settings while a 20 piece Fiestaware dinner set contains four separate five piece Fiesta settings. As far as Maria we know, they don”t make 12 piece Fiesta dinnerware sets.
Anyway, the 20 piece Fiestaware dinner set comes with a tea cup, saucer, medium bowl, dinner plate and salad plate for each person while the 16 piece dinnerware set comes with a coffee mug in lieu of a tea cup and saucer (everything else is the same). Obviously, the 20 piece Fiesta dinnerware set is more expensive than its 16 piece counterpart, but surprisingly, not by much (about $16 last time we checked). So it sort of all depends whether your tea sippers or Joe drinkers.
