Paprika Fiestaware: Homer Laughlin Spices It Up

Paprika dishes Hot on the heels of Homer Laughlin”s 2009 addition to the Fiestaware line (Fiesta Lemongrass) was this spicy newcomer: Paprika. Homer Laughlin announced on its that Paprika Fiestaware would be hitting the shelves in department stores this summer, making it the first color to come out in 2010. Fittingly, this new Fiesta color takes its name from a staple of Mexican cuisine and takes on the rich, earthy red of its namesake. Don”t let all the Hispanic throwbacks confuse you, though.

Fiestaware is made in the USA in West Virginia. Like vintage Fiesta, new Fiesta is built to last. It”s microwave safe, dishwasher safe, freezer safe and completely lead free. Because of its durability and versatility, Fiesta is popular in restaurants. It can take a beating and adds color and pizazz – though we have to admit we don”t envy the server who has to carry an entire tray full of these hefty dishes. Currently, you can buy Paprika Fiesta online  at places like Ebay or other online outlets.  You can get place settings in 3 piece, 4 piece or and they come in a convenient box that”s easy to store or display. Plus, you get a significant savings when you get a whole set.
