Necklace Made from Broken Vintage Fiestaware on Etsy
Posted on April 23, 2010 by Gretta
This etsy artist makes necklaces and jewelry out of broken plates. We think you’ll find this one especially interesting:
Very cool, and most definitely vintage. You can tell because of the lowercase script and how it’s all strung together. The smaller circle there is from a lemongrass Fiesta piece and you can recognize the trademark rings.
She’s asking $125 for this piece, which is probably fair. She had to trash a vintage piece of Fiestaware after all. Or maybe she dropped it and just turned it into something beautiful instead of tossing it in the trash. We don’t know, but we do encourage you to check out the rest of her stuff at TheBrokenPlate on etsy.

Thanks SO much for the post! My price also reflects that fact that it is set into sterling silver. I don’t break vintage Fiesta (for fear for death threats) so bought this one with a chip in it already.
