Even though the color itself is aesthetically appealing, beauty alone does not make this color desirable. The truth behind the Medium Green craze is simple: scarcity. When Medium Green was first produced, it was a popular color in general (green was all the rage during the late 1950s to early 1960s).     I have a 12″ med green dinner plate, where can I find out what it is worth? I also have several 9″ plates & saucers of genuine “fiesta” ware with & without markings.

    Hi Rosie – Try “The Collector’s Encyclopedia of Fiesta” by Sharon Huxford. It’s cheap on Amazon, and I bet you could pick it up at your local library.

    Your Fiesta cake plate is either a harlequin dish (also made by Homer Laughlin) or a vintage Fiestaware piece. Either way, I believe it’s rather rare.
    Can you tell me what color it is? Or perhaps a picture?

    You may also want to pick up a book. I recommend the book by the Huxfords (mentioned in the comments already). It will have info on both Harlequin and Fiesta:
