Fiesta jug

Collectors,

Someone has reported seeing a Fiesta piece on a DVD of a television show. On season three of "The L Word" a two pint jug (it may have been a 1 pint jug) is seen in the middle of the season finale. Shane opens the refrigerator door and takes something out, but you can see the Fiesta jug prominately in the front.

The 2 pint (32 oz) jug was the largest of the five sizes of jugs made in the Fiesta line. There were two variations of the bottom mark on these jugs. One version says "MADE IN USA" and the other says "HLC USA" written in the familiar script. The jug was made in Forest Green, Chartreuse, Gray, Cobalt, Green (not medium green), Yellow, Ivory, Rose, Turquiose, and Red (only until 1944).

It is great to know that a Fiesta jug that was discontinued in 1959 is still alive and well on a modern television series.
