Fiesta 20-Piece Service for 4 Dinnerware Set. This five-piece place setting from Fiestaware consists of a dinner plate, salad plate, 19 oz cereal bowl, 7.75-ounce cup, and saucer. The cup is just under 3 inches tall. The dinner plat is 10.5″ diameter and 15/16ths” depth; The salad bowl is 7.25″ diameter and 3/4″ depth.
The plates hold up very well. They may show some knife marks eventually, but are very resistant and most marks can be removed with a cleaner. Like other Fiesta, it is very chip resistant. The bowls and plates nest perfectly inside each other. The cups will stack but the handles keep them from being perfectly nested.
The Homer Laughlin Company is one of the very few china manufacturers that continues to make its product right here in the USA. Besides being made in the US, West Virginia, this set is lead free. Be careful where you buy these Fiesta 20 piece sets. I suggest buying them from a department store. Some of the ones on Amazon are seconds or flawed or fakes. Too many stories in the Amazon reviews about lopsided marks, mismatched sets, and flaws. If you do buy them from somewhere like that look them over well when they come. The Homer Laughlin China company does sell seconds and there are people out there that try to take advantage of that fact.
